Question about 1995 Honda Civic
Hi, my 95 honda civic hatch back 1.3 carb model wont start when its cold unless i pump it a few times and even then when it starts, i rev it and it sounds like a subaru for a few seconds and after that when i go to drive it, it dies down and cuts out, but if i press in the clutch before it cuts out, it runs ok untill it warms up. could it be the cold start sensor and if so where is it located on the engine so i can change it, but if it aint a cold start sensor what could it be.
Leave it to the specialists aye haha but if it was me id go for a dig i was just tryn to find a manual for my van to simplify the process

If you have never changed a cambelt (timing belt) then it is not recommended that you attempt it. It is a job for a mechanic, as getting the cam timing wrong on reassembly is easy to do and can have disastrous consequences. It is easy enough once you know how, and if you are reasonably mechanically able, I'd suggest getting a repair manual for your vehicle that has a step by step procedure for timing belt replacement. Companies like Haynes produce very good repair manuals.

Best advise is to purchase a Chilton or Haynes Manual from discount parts store such as Autozone,Pep Boys, etc.for that and close other years and follow the step by step procedures for around $20.
