SOURCE: replacing fuel pump do i need to remove tank 1993

No, you don't have to drain the fuel tank. All you have to do is relieve the fuel pressure. If your car will start, remove the fuse or relay for the fuel pump and start the car. Let it idle until it stalls. Then turn off the key and remove the negative battery cable (to prevent sparks while you work).

I hope this helps.

if you read the owners manual it will tell you that the unit will not reset properly with only fuel added
that means to get it to read right again you have to fill the tank completely

Okay, the yaris has only one filter which is inside the fuel tank. It's a non serviceable part. Sometimes you can clean it out if you use really good gas.

How do you replace the petrol filter and when?

The fuel filter is within the fuel tank. It is replaced after every subsequent 100,000 km or it can be cleaned with compressed air (if clogged).

How & where do you remove fuel filter yaris yr 2008

Toyota has not used fuel filters since 2004 in most models.
The only filter you have is a small screen before the pump inside the tank.

Diesel in gas in a 2008 Yaris

I would recommend draining the tank, replacing the fuel filter, you will probably have to replace the spark pugs as well. You may want to also blow out the fuel lines if easily accessible. Put in new gasoline, a fuel system additive, and run it for a little bit (may get some smoke for a bit, and my be hard to start at first and run rough). Hope this helps.
