License plate bolts spinning

Seems like a lot of trouble to remove the mounting panel. If you can get to the back of the panel you should be able to get a pair of grippers onto the nut. If the bolt spins there must be some gap between the back of the bolt head and the licence plate. Use the tips of a pair of side cutters ("hollow" side out) to immobilise the bolt then use a dremel with a cut off disc to cut off the head which lies between the jaws of the cutters. Of course if you have a really strong grip you might be able to cut off the head with the side cutters.

Are the Cutting blades bolts for a John Deere LT 160 right handed thread or left handed thread?

It is typical to use right handed thread so you would turn them clockwise to install, and counterclockwise to remove. The blade rotates towards the cutting edge which is typically counterclockwise, so to remove the bolt, you unscrew it, with the handle of your wrench pulling towards the back of the blade.. These bolts can be really tight. Pull the spark plug lead or remove the ignition key so you don't get an accidental start. Wear gloves, there are sharp bits.

Need to remove sticky residue from rock saw interior

I would use some sort of degrease product in the system to remove the oil residue . I believe that if you read the instructions it would say when cutting rock use only water to cool the diamond blade . Cutting oil is used only on certain metals to lubricate the saw edges and teeth as well as cooling and never in a concentration above 25% as it affects the cutting ability of the blade. For example concrete cutters use diamond saws and tap water when cutting

How to cut blower motor cover on 2000 astro

There should be 5 clips on the blower acoustic cover. Use a razor blade or box cutter to cut the acoustic cover etween the 5 clips. The cover is for noise reduction only and does not have to be reinstalled if you do not want to mess with it. Otherwise, I would recommend using some black silicone to hold it together where it has been cut.

Best method of cutting bumper to fit towbar on saab 9-3 salon

Hi and welcome to FixYa!

Here in our motor shop, we use a metal plate or cutter to cut the bumpers in case of modifications. Heat up the blade or plate before proceeding to cutting procedure. When the metal blade is heated it makes the cutting easy.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

Can't remove transmmission pan on my 4wd automatic 1995 nissan pathfinder can you help me?

If all the bolts are removed your going to have to get unpleasant with it. Nissan uses a sealing compound that is basically a glue when they assemble these things. It is normally recommend that you has a gasket cutter to remove them but you can use a wide blade screw driver if your careful. You have to break the seal between the pan and the transmission housing but be careful not to ding up the housing or damage the pan.

How to replace the rear window in standard cab 1999 dakota

there is a rubber seal that goes around the outside or the glass that you have to remove after you get that take a box cutter and put the blade between the glass and the cab and cut the glue that is holding it. it will probably be a pain unless you have the special cutter for the job which you should be able to get at a parts store or at least be able to find out where to get one
