Question about 2009 Dodge Ram Pickup 1500
I have a 2009 Dodge Ran 1500 Laramie QC 4wd and on occasion when I put the key in the ignition and start the vehicle the entertainment system (stereo) does not come on, the signal lights do not work nor do the wipers. Other lights work including the dash lights. Any idea on the cause, could it be the key battery, it's like it doesn't recognize the key and was started by command start.
You need to see the dealer and have the Body Control Module scanned for fault codes.

It sounds like it may just be flooded. You may have to remove and dry out the spark plugs, or just hold it to the floor as you turn it over to start. The PCM will recognize you're holding the pedal on the floor with no engine rpm's and will not fire the injectors, a clear flood program. You have no codes because you replaced the battery, disconnecting it clears any stored codes. I hope this helps.

You most likely need a new radio. They go bad all the time in the Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep. Don't know how many of them I have replaced.
