Where in cargo area? When? After a rainstorm? After a carwash?
I would position my wife or significant other in the rear with a flashlight and take it through a carwash to find out where the water is coming from first. Don't discount that it might be coming up from under the car when you drive.
It will probably be a weatherstripping issue on a door or some such. Inspect the rubber seals around all doors, hatchbacks, and windows. Weatherstripping and glue is pretty cheap if you need to replace anything.
Do not ignore this. Mold can grow in damp carpeting, and rust problems are not helped at all by moisture.

1995 Chev Tahoe 4 door. Water in rear cargo area near the rear doors. It leaks if I pour water over the rear of the roof near the top of the rear doors. All weather stripping on doors is in tact....

Check and make sure seals are even not warped. Check for rust around the are where it's leaking. If you have a compressor with a blow gun blow along the area where the water is leaking in. If you feel air coming through the area check and make sure the weather stripping is sealing properly. Doors could be out of alignment as well causing the leak. Or door seals could be rotting out.

Fuel pump reset button

This is normally behind the floor kick panels in front or in the rear cargo area next to the Air-ride switch. The rear cargo area switch may be behind a plastic panel cover and is usually paired up with the Air-ride.

Water leaks into rear left cargo area in 2006 Jeep Liberty during heavy rain. Think it's coming from roof rack but no water comes in when I aim a hose at it.

Could be the rear wheel is splashing up the water onto the cargo area, only when you drive. It might be a hole in the floor of the cargo area letting in the water.

I have a 1993 GMC suburban and the carpet in the rear cargo area gets wet when it rains. i was sitting in the rear when it was rainning 1 day and did not see any rain come in around the windows or seals...

Believe it or not, check the rear wheel wells for rust damage or holes. As the tires spin the water is thrown up into the well and penetrates the rear cargo panel. If not try to check the saturation starting at the rear door and follow it until it gets less. The odds are the water is coming in through the wheel well.
