Need to change the rear coil/spark plugs on Ford escape 2006. Need engine diagram to do it.

Need to remove upper intake manifold

You can see the coils on the front or left bank

I'm referring to a V6

1,2,3 right side of motor -next to firewall
4,5,6 left side of motor-next to radiator

If you have a v6 do the 3 coils while your there & intake is off
& save them for some time you need them on the left side

We have no diagrams

A code PO301 thru PO306 does not mean a coil is bad

Watch" Wayne"on Real Fixes Real Fast ---on You Tube

You get the plugs & coils from Rock Auto.Com unless
you like spending more at the parts store

Spark Plugs--every 3 years
O2 Sensors--front ones only--100,000 miles
Gas filter & Air Filter -3 years
Trans & Power Steering Fluids -3 years or failure isn't far away

Try to use th OE Brand Plugs on a ford
The tip configuration etc is important
Because it show ten plugs that fit they may
not work well

I would have the motor checked with professional
scan tool software in Mode #06 & look for cylinder
misfire on a road test of 20 miles, before I did any
of the work your going to do. That may show you some
failing coils. Codes are next to uselss
I have had to walk new coils form one cyl to the next
even when the scanner didn't pick up anything

Location of horn on 2012 Hyundai tucson

The Horn is under the hood just remove the screws holding the radiator cover, I don't think it's necessary to remove all of them, just the drivers side, enough to be able to remove the headlight assembly. Then there's 3 bolts holding the headlight assembly, on top 1-10mm, & 1-12mm they are right on top, & quite visible, next underneath there is another 10mm bolt about the middle, in sideways, (check pix) just remove these, and the headlight elect plug (push down on the back of the plug clip to release) now, just sort of jostle the headlight back, & forward (but forward a bit more) while lifting it, and pulling back the loose radiator cover to clear, and it should come right out

2004 mazda Tribute (Ford Escape) 3.0L AWD 'chugs' whenever pressing the gas/load on the motor. possible motor/drivetrain issue & ABS.

I think you may have a Cat. Converter plugging up. It can make the car run bad and give an unholy vibration. You could remove a front O2 sensor to check and see if it runs better with it out. I have seen this before on an Escape. Also have had bad coils. Ford has had some trouble with them. The ABS is most likely a wheel speed sensor. They read off a ring on the CV shafts. You should inspect them for missing teeth. Other than that if you have access to a scan tool, drive it while watching the datastream and look for a wheel speed sensor dropping off to 0 or 3 mph when braking. Hope this helps.

Miss fire but no lights on changed the plugs and fuel filter also changed dist cap also checked for a good spark

A lean fuel mixture will not yield poor fuel economy but a misfiring cylinder will. You have already replaced the coils and the plug leads to the cylinders in question so they should not be an issue.Do the codes still indicate a misfire on cyls. 2 & 3? If so have you looked at the plugs? Has the oil leak around the plugs been stopped? Are they oil fouled? Could the pooling oil around the plugs be shorting the spark discharge to ground?or Valve Cover gasket is leaking. That's why you see some motor oil in the sparkplug sleeve (tube). removed the spark plug and My suggestion is to remove the sparkplug in cylinder 2 & 3 or whichever ones that the scanner indicated as "misfiring". Take a look at the sparkplugs and see if there's any oil around it. If you see any traces of oil, that means your gasket is worned out and need to replace.Good Luck in getting your problem fixed. If you need any further help - I'll try to help you the best of my knowledge and skills. You can repost on this
