SOURCE: ford f250 2003 super duty diesel 6L - loss of power and idle fluctuates

icp sensor, definitly. you can get to it but you have to go from the bottom. remove the trans filler tube, and lower the the trans slightly, then you can remove the turbo heat shield and get to the sensor, you will need a 1 1/16" 12 point crows foot socket for the sensor its self.

SOURCE: 03 Buick Rendezvous Overheating

If the top hose is hot and the bottom is cold, your definitely not getting circulation. You,ve already done alot of work to this vehicle so you have pretty much answered your own question. About the only thing left is the heater core. Of course, I dont want to be the one to tell you it is definitely the heater core because obviously I am not looking at the vehicle. But If i was a betting man, thats where my money would be.

SOURCE: My 95' Chevy diesel k2500 stalls out when im Driving

I have replaced many injector driver modules on these diesels. GM has redesigned it and i have never had a replacement one fail. This is a known problem for the 6.5 diesel. Unfortunately its about a 500 dollar part from the dealer, and requires intake removal, and some very tight work space to replace.

SOURCE: 2008 Chevy Uplander has 21,000 miles. Nno heat

Uplanders with the 3.9 engine are prone to no heat at idle speeds. Probably weeping head gasket. Air bubble trapped. Dealers will remove rad cap and let it sit at about 25 deg. angle for a couple hours. Good for awhile.

My 94 k2500 6.5 turbo diesel is idling high but when I tap the accelerator it goes back down and idle rough, when I try to drive it will jerk or surge, and it will also blows smoke what is wrong?pmd.

check that the turbo is fully operational ( variable vanes are free to move , actuator and vacuum hose are in good condition
the smoke is an indication that it is on on the job
the high idle may be from excess fuel and not enough air
and the rough idle and jerking indicates a air fuel ratio problem back again to the turbo
If you have fault codes run them and consider putting it on a chassis dyno for a full test of the pump and turbo

I have a 1994 ford explorer ,it will idle up and down and it surges when driving, during warm months it wont idle good after its getting colder it idles up and down i can cruise 45 mile an hour and never...

When idles surges its due to false air, The MAF (mass air flow) calculates the amount of air and responds to the proper amount of fuel, When you get false air such as a broken PCV valve,or ruptured vacuum hose the idle increases and you get the surge that you are describing,Your basically out of fuel control .

03 buick century, ac control knob blows out on all vents regardless where I position it. David

This usually is related to the vacuum reservior tank/cannister or the hose leading to that chamber. Any other vacuum hose leak could cause a similar problem depending upon it's location.

The hose leading to the cannister is usually just a thin single hose/tube leading to the cannister. The system allows vacuum to build up in the vehicle and maintains vacuum on the A/C system under heavy acceleration where a loss of vacuum would cause the A/C to change operation (switching from defrost to other venting and vice-versa) due to the loss.

You could have a cracked vacuum hose, or a cracked cannister.

You can use regular carburetor cleaner in a spray can with a nozzle, and carefully spray the vacuum lines on your vehicle when idling, and should notice a change in RPMs if you spray near a leak. Only spray a small amount at a time and let the engine compartment air out between spraying/testing since this is a flammable product.

This should lead you to identify any leaks.

Good luck!

My 03 Ford ranger's air conditioner blow cold air but it will only blow on defrost, it wont blow out of the vents

your controls for floor, vent.defrost ect. is in default mode due to a loss of vacuum.
you need to inspect vacuum lines for being lose cracked,or disconnected.hose will run from engine
intake manifold through firewall into the dash.i'd start at intake manifold looking for bad hose
