More than likely the turn signal switch is defective as the circuit runs through it. have a shop confirm this as the part is expensive.

1987 ford ranger turn signals keep blowing fuses. have changed flasher fuse and switch on column. just keeps blowing?

first thing i guess to understand what is going on here ,is a little back to basics on how turnsignals work , first item you have is power fuse then it's off to flasher module than it goes to the turnsignal switch on colum ,of course anywhere on it way to there the power could got to ground and cause the fuse to trip, now the power depending on Left or right selection , is directed to lights on both front and back of truck, thankfully rangers don't have em on the side) now any place in this pathway the wire could go to ground and blow the fuse, now to troubleshoot and narrow down the area that fault is located , (1) replace fuse with correct size and ck for proper fit in fusebox and start and operate truck for a few minutes DO not use turnsignals, ck fuse is it still good if so go to step 2 if not stop and ck wire conditions in steering colum and switch(2) start truck and try right hand turn signal only verify lights working ,Ok yes/no if not replace fuse and try left side same way, Ok yes /no if right or left side only blows fuses take ALL bulbS OUT of lights and try again , if fuse still blows then look for wire fault on that side of truck if fuse is still good then look carefull at light bulb sockets for rust and powered corrosion (ill bet an 87 has some ) you may need to replace bulb sockets , they do sell em in autoparts stores .

Are you sure you replaced the bulbs with the same brand/model as on the passenger side? There are a lot of different versions with different light colors and intensities.
If so, have you made sure there is no water vapor in the headlight housing, and that the silvering inside is not degraded?

My dash lights want come on and my left brack light want come on and my right blinker want come on.

1st off the right blinker, does it blink fast or not at all if it blinks fast, check the bulbs if it is not blinking and the dash light also don't work the multifunction switch could be bad(turnsignal, light switch) if your other break light is working start by checking the bulbs take the verified good one and try it in the other side if the bulbs are good check the fuses under dash and under hood carefully

Left side turn signal's do not function on my 2005 chevy malibu bulbs are new can not find a fuse for the turnsignals

If only left sides are not working there may be another bulb bad some vehicles incorporate sidemarkers as turn signal as well.Would check right side first and see what lights are flashing for sure and compare to left side.If not a bulb would double check the sockets and wiring itself. It is not uncommon for a socket to go bad.

Bought new headlights for my 2001 lexus gs300 but the right light won't turn on. what do i need to do to get it working again?

Take the right one and put it in the left side and see if that light works over there. If it does then you probably need to clean some contact terminals on the right side. If the headlight does not work on theleft side you go a defective bulb. It;s rarebut it does happen. You can also put the left sidebulb in the right side and seeif the right sideworks then. If so you just didn't have a good enough contact while installing the first time.
