The thermostat is not the only thing to control heat. are the 2 hoses going to the heater core hot, you may have a bad blend door motor

Heat blows out air but does not get warm, any ideas?

If it is faulty, yes.
Does the temp gauge show the engine is warming up to normal temp ?
Is the radiator full of coolant ?
Are the heater hoses getting hot ?
It could also be a faulty blend door under the dash. The blend doors direct air thru the heater core and the vents.

09 ram 2500 over heating with plow on going down the road. have had this truck for 1.5 years and this is a new problem. never did it before. dealer changed thermistat today and still doing it

have you changed height or angle of the blade resulting in reduced airflow into the radiator lately???try different angles and blade heights for more air flow

Not getting any heat. just replaced thermostat and water pump. still nothing. upper hose gets hot lower radiator hose cold?

it sounds like the thermistat was instald back words. are thare is a air bubble thare try berping the sistem the hights heater hose if that dos not help check thermistat once in a blue moon thay do fail

2000 ford expedition 5.4 heat is cold. When heat is on low its warm, if i turn the blower on high its cold. I changed thermistat, had the heater core back flushed twice and it flows with no debris, the...

if the heater hoses are hot the only thing it could be is a blend door, if you can hear the door moving its not closing all the way, those are made of plastic and are common to brake at the actuator you will hear the actuator work but it will only partially close and open the door

Blower is only blowing vent air no heat, was working yesterday now is not.

radiator full? Thermistat stuck open. extremely cold and too much air flow on radiator.?Does it over heat at all? Back flush heater core and radiator and replace fluids, block off part of radiator in extreme cold areas. Check controls to be sure they are opening and closing correctly

hi, you may have a heater core issue, you might want this to be fixed by an expert auto mechanic because its gonna be a 9hour job.

2005 Town & Chrysler heat is not working properly

check the hoses going to the heater core. if there is an extreme temperature difference you may have a heater core plugging up
