Question about Cars & Trucks
92 Isuzu pickup truck replacing the turn signal switch
OEM is Original Equipment - Everything else is a copy. In your case, I'd say a copy is probably better quality.

i had the same problem with my 1994 rodeo. it is the turn signal switch itself that is bad, I was lucky enough to find the whole switch in a salvage yrad, and replace it, it did the trick, there is a little brass flapper that is supposed to make contact that gets corroded and won't make the contact. one might use dielectric pray into the opening of the switch arm first before you take the steering wheel off and disassemble it.

SOURCE: Replace Turn signal switch
Fairly simple for average guy. Go or call a local parts store, and ask for a multifunction switch, your VIN number will help them to better ID the right one, cost maybe $80-100. They should be able to show you a diagram as to how it installs, usually just a couple of screws to remove plastic shouds to access the switch, which should have a plug going into it, plug and play.

SOURCE: 95 isuzu pickup fuel switch
What year is the truck? If it has a carb, you probably didn't put the fuel pump drive pin back where it belongs. It is supposed to contact the camshaft lobe, go through a hole in the head (my wife says I have an extra one of those) and then make contact with the fuel pump actuating lever.

Try changing out your turn signal flasher.it might be under your dash by your fuse box. Some trucks have two one for turn signals one for 4 way flashers.By all means check the fuse first.
