Check the resister under the passenger side dash. pull the wire connection and inspect the connector. look for any sings of burnt or melted wires. ...if it is that go to your nearest chevy dealer and tell them you need a resister and rewire

Thank you, but it sounds working strong, it is like somewhere, evaporator or somewhere is clogged with dust or something. I do not know if there is a cabinair filter somewhere or where to get it cleaned. Again, thank you.

SOURCE: Front air condition does not blow cold. Rear air condition does

sounds like a damper door in the front not working properly, these are actuated by the front temp control, the door is operated by either a manual cable, and electric actuator, or vacuum. I hope this helps you zero in on your problem. Merry Christmas

The A/C relay is in the glove box behind a panel that indicate relay. There are three relays in there, the middle relay is the fuel pump and one of the out side relay is for the A/C compressor and the other is for the third brake light. Just can not remember which out side relay is the A/C so just swap the out side relays with one another. Good luck and hope this helps. Keep me posted.

under the radiator on the passenger side of the truck. There is a little splash guard you will need to remove to see it, The guard is held in with 4 15mm headed bolts, then you will be able to see the bottom of the air pump.

2001 Chevy blazer air conditioning blower is throwing very little air. what and how I can get it back to normal?

Is the issue there when using heat and air-con?
If so, then check the blower motor and fan switch for fault.

Check any cabin air filter if fitted for clogging.

If only an issue with hot air flow, then check the heater matrix hasn't bunged up.

If only a cold air flow, then check the air conditioning car evaporator in the cabin for signs of clogging.

Clogging can be more of an issue in pet owner's cars as pet hair readily clogs up these two components in cars fitted with no interior air cleaner element/filter.

I need direction to change the heater core in my 1998 chevy blazer

Front - Without Air Conditioning
(see Figure 1)
  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
  2. Mark the position of the blower motor in relation to its case.
  3. Unplug the electrical connection at the motor.
  4. Remove the blower attaching screws and remove the assembly. Pry gently on the flange if the sealer sticks.

  1. The blower wheel can be removed from the motor shaft by unfastening the nut at the center.
To install:
  1. Install the blower wheel to the motor shaft and tighten the nut at the center.
  2. Apply a bead of sealer to the blower mounting flange. Position the blower so that the marks are aligned and install the screws.
  3. Attach the electrical connection at the motor.
  4. Connect the negative battery terminal.

Hope helps with this (remember rated this help) Good luck.
