My 2000 SL500 6 CD cartridge will not eject The player works fine but I want to put in 6 new CDs and cannot get the cartridge ejected

There probably is a CD hung up between the magazine and the player mechanism. There is no easy fix. You will have to remove and disassemble the unit to get access inside. Once everything is back in place, apply power and try to eject the magazine. Otherwise, you may get the unit reinstalled only to find the magazine is still stuck.

CD PLAYER NOT WORKING MAZDA RX8 2004

It is likely that a CD is stuck in transit between the magazine and the player mechanism. It may be necessary to remove the radio and disassemble it enough to get the CD back into its magazine slot and allow removal of the magazine.

6 disc cd changer in my 2008 taurus x sel rotates all night and drains the battery what can I do

Have you tried ejecting the cd magazine from the changer? If so, and it's doing this, try gently prying along the top and bottom of the changer while it's making that noise. If it's in the console, there's a possibility that something got spilled into the magazine at some point (maybe a long time ago) and has now literally got the magazine stuck. If you get it out, try taking out the 4 small screws to see if there is any residue in there. If so, rubbing alcohol and q-tips are a great way to clean it up. Hope this helps.

If your Cadillac uses a magazine to hold CDs, the CD is stuck somewhere between its slot in the magazine and the player mechanism. It may be necessary to disassemble the player to solve the problem

Jaguar 6 disc player not working

If you are getting power to the unit and you hear it clicking and making a sound when you hit the eject button, the this means that a CD is jammed in the track and while it was changing it got stuck and now causes you to see an ERROR message.
What you do is while hitting the eject button, wiggle the CD MAGAZINE up and down and side ways. This will cause the CD to fall into place and your magazine will pop out.

I have a 6 disk magazine CD changer that the magazine is stuck and will not eject. Are there any solutions? Aside from taking the whole console appart? n can u give the cheapest quote for fixing the...

I am afraid that this need to be opened for a solution unless you are able to wriggle or carefully tapping for the cd to release. It may not be an expensive fault but usually some cd would have got entangled within the mechanism. hence tap on the cover carefully to see if it would release. If not open the changer after removing the holding screws, look out for any cds locked within, slowly wind up the loading motor to release. Now check the cd's , remove all and keep only one cd inside the magazine. Then load and watch, if all goes well you have done it remove off the bad cd . if not there could be a link or mechanism that is stuck. check the line to the loading motor, check the loading drive ic. try to hear any noise as the set is powered as friction to move. release or remove and set. I am sure if your are able to look carefully the problem could be around. if not there could be serious fault of failure of componets which requires more probe with a technical hand. hope this advice helps Good day.
