2005 freelander engine immobilised and wont start there is no eka code for this model. How can i get my car to start again

do you know if the ignition box is any good, some auto part store can test the unit.
www.howto.com/mfg.name/make/model/testing/procedures/good/or/bad/
check the fuse box, your look for a fuse protection, its a fuse, located where the power comes into the fuse box, it sqaure, S-shape, its to protect the unit from shorting out the cars system, everything is dead in the car.
call the dealer ask if this car has that type of fuse, circuit proection fuse.

Car wont start

Any fuse that is blown may stop it from starting, or no fuse at all if it's something else. Visually inspect the fuses to make sure there is a link. If all the links are good then you need to start looking at other things like fuel pump, timing belt, etc.

Car radio not turn after battery change

if the radio doesn't come on at all, I would start with checking the fuses for the radio, if the fuse in the car is good, sometimes radios have a fuse built into the radio, usually you have to pull the deck out to access it. check car fuse first, make sure its not blown.

make sure the radio doesnt display "code"

did you accidentally hook the battery terminals up backwards for a second when installing the battery, or when jump starting?

Car not starting, i am told injectoctors have no power supplt

Not knowing what kind of vehicle you have, I would first suggest you look under the dash board for your fuse panel and see if you fuses for ignition or fuel. Check them to make sure they're good, then under the hood of the car there is another fuse panel, It's your mail fuse block which also carries fuses and relays for the car. check the fuses and relays here also. If everything is good then I'd probably start to look at your ignition module or coil packs. Like I said not knowing what kind of car makes it a little hard.

My daughter has a 1998 Avenger as soon as the car starts it blows a 30 amp fuse in the engine compartment which is simply marked ENGINE. After this fuse blows the car will not even try to start the lights...

sounds like you have a short in the electrical system between the ignition and the fuse box. it might be metal to metal somewhere inbetween in the wiring that is makeing the fuse blow out everytime

The fuse blows hven i try to start

I dont know a whole lot about foreign cars, but if a fuse is blowing, it almost always means that there is a short. What does the fuse control? Like does it control the computer, or the headlights. If you can find the circuit that the fuse controls, you should follow all of the wires and make sure none of them are shorted out. Also, check all of your ground wires and make sure that are all attached well.

Car wont start after checking fuse

Double check to make sure you pressed all of the fuses all the way in. Did the same thing on my 06 Cobalt and it took me about an hour to figure that one out. : )

Also, make sure they are all in the right spots. (especially your ignition fuse)
