you have to take the transmission pan off of your transmission to corretly change the fluid and the filter you should take it to your local shop and have done the average price for this is around 125

hi there i prosume its an auto if so there are 3 plugs at the rear of the box by the bell housing in a row going up you have to access them from underneath and dont forget its a special fluid,

right below the middle of the exhaust crossover pipe in the top of the trans is a black or red screw in cap with no dipstick thats the fill. to check is a plug right above the right axle (7/16 wrench) you need to remove with engine running and fill till fluid runs out on level ground then put both plugs back in and your done

check for any check engine lights if not you should have the cars transmission module checked for code these cars have problem with pressure control solenoid and torque converter clutch solenoid and the wiring harness swells from overheat inside the transmission side cover in the valve body. it usually sets a p1870 transmission may need to replace the PC solenoid,TCC solenoid, and wiring harness. It could also be the valve body itself the solenoid wear the valve body. Valve body will usually come with all solenoids but make sure at least you use brand new PC solenoid,TCC solenoid,and wiring harness.
