A very expensive repair indeed. This is not an easy repair at all. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

How do i check water pump on a benz c320 2002

Should be a weep hole on the sides of the pump behind the pulley. also these become very noisey from worn bearings and can be found by removing the drive belt and checking by hand.

2002 Mercedes c class compressor.. steering not turning? all of a sudden

Hi Karen,
Can you elaborate a bit? Please tell me exactly what your symptoms are...is the steering difficult, or does the steering wheel not turn at all? What is the 'compressor' you're referring to, and what are its symptoms?
Thanks

Mercedes-Benz E-Class Diesel air conditioner not

You cannot accuratly check the freon level without compressor engaged. Without car running that needle better be pegged or its low. Charge with car running with dials set to max cool with fan speed on hi. Slowly while charging with compressor engaged bring it up to 2K rppms while filling. Should take around 3 cans. Get the stuff with stop leak.

Removal of drive shaft

It will cost more money for the special removal and instllation toll than the job itself. It is apercision bearing and it requires a special tool-remove the drive axle, brake rotor, caliper and e-brake shoes. remove snapring and **** bearing out of hub with tool.

Clatter noise around water pump at idle speed 2003 merc c230 compressor

This is most likely the bearing in the water pump is on the way out. If it is you should replace it before it fails as you could end up with a blown cylinder head gasket (expensive)

I have a 2003 Mercedes C240. When it starts up there's a humming noise that quits after a few minutes, but when the car starts moving it starts clicking.

THE HUMMING NOISE IS YOUR SECONDARY AIR INJECTION PUMP. THEY TEND TO BE NOISEY AT START-UP. IF IT IS NOT WORKING COREECTLY IT WILL SET A CHECK ENIGNE LITE. THE CLICKING NOISE IS NORMAL IF IT GOES AWAY AFTER WARM-UP. THESE MOTORS ARE NOISEY WARMING UP DUE TO THE HYDRAULIC LIFTERS.
