Brake lights, cruise control and horn all stopped working at the same time. i also just got my alternator replaced. can anyone possibly help me, or have had the same problem?

The brake switch and brake lights as well as the horn are supplied voltage thru the 15 amp STOP fuse located in the underhood fuse/relay box. No fuse is listed for the cruise control system but the signal for the brake lights is supplied to the PCM. If it is not getting a valid signal from brake switches then it may well disable operation of the cruise control system due to insufficient information and safety. Check that fuse first off. In the center section of the underhood fuse box is a column of six fuses. Top of column wil be brown 7.5A fuse, next down will be yellow 10A fuse, next will be blue 15A fuse (this is the one you are looking at), next down will be either blue or yellow, next is brown and last is blue.

How to replace a 1999 Mitsubishi diamante power antenna fuse?

Hi, fuse should be under the dash. There is a fuse box just above kick panel next to steering wheel. The other fue box is in the engine bay next to battery. Good Luck. Remember use same size fuse as replaced.

P0620 generator control circuit

code po620 refers to alternator control--circuit malfunction===causes--wiring---alternator --- battery---ECM
Check that the wiring is good and terminals are tight. Have a load test done on the battery to check for failing cell that will not take a charge. Ensure that the battery posts and terminals are shiny clean. Have the alternator bench tested for out put.

Ihave a fault code P0620

P0620 - Generator Control Circuit Malfunctionxicon.jpghttp://engine-codes.com/p0620.htmlForum CodePossible causes- Failed Generator/Belt
- Battery charge
- PCM controlled generator
- PCM failure
- Open or short generator circuit When is the code detected?The PCM has fault detection circuitry which monitors the state of the generator turn on signal circuit. If the fault detection circuit senses a voltage other than what is expected, this DTC will set. The voltage regulator also contains fault detection circuitry. If the regulator detects a problem, the regulator will ground the generator turn on signal circuit, pulling the voltage low. This also causes the PCM to set the DTC.
