My heater is making a loud, roaring noise when the fan is turned to high.

This can be trash in the fan, broken blades, or bad bearings in the fan. If your car or truck has easy way to remove the fan motor, pull it to see the issue.

98 Pontiac Grand Prix load front end roaring?

Defective fan clutch, if it has one. With a cold engine only, try spinning the fan blade by hand. If it does not turn freely, the fan clutch is defective. Warning: When the engine is hot, the fan can turn on by itself with the car not running and keys are NOT in the ignition.

Have the engine cooling fan operation checked, it may be defective and that can cause the noise.

1997 Town & Country: have a roaring noise when i start my van...

check your fan. If it is a clutch type (has an aluminum clutch mechanism behind fan) it may be stuck in the engaged position (it's supposed to freewheel when the engine is cold) If it is internally binding, you cannot fix it. Just replace it.
If the fan is OK, you will need to look at everything and locate the source of the noise or have a good shop look for you. There is no such thing as a good noise, so have it taken care of asap!

I have a roaring sound when i start the envoy what can it be? when I put it in neutral the noise goes away and too if i have been driving it for awile the noise goes away it only roars when I start it...

That's the fan clutch for the radiator fan. It has a thick fluid in it and in this cold weather it is ispecially thick. This makes the fan turn almost at engines speed and that makes the roaring noise. After it has been spinning a while, the fluid gets warm and gets thinner. that makes the fan turn slower than the engine. This is normal and needs no attention.
