SOURCE: removing a radio from 1993 ford 150

If it is like my '95 and '96 then you will need the DIN removal tool.
Should have 2 small square holes on either side. If it is an after-market device you would need the instructions for the device.

SOURCE: 1993 XJ6: how do you remove the 1993 jaguar xj6 radio?...

You pretty much have to start at the ashtray and work forward making note of what you are taking out as you go. Remove the knobs of course, retaining screws that would be in place as keepers as well. As you get ready to remove the ski slope, there will be keeper screws in place with plastic loops that will break if you are not careful and 2 plastic wingnuts roughly where the ashtray meets the ski slope but underneath and out of sight unless you are looking for them. Once the ski slope is out of the way, its pretty straightforward but there are a lot of wires with terminals that are unique to the radio and can probably splice things if you need to.....but there are a lot of splices to do and then fitting things back will get more cramped and difficult.

Need radio code for 1993 xjs

the only way to retrieve this code is to call the dealer(they may have you come in) and prove ownership with registration and VIN and they will give you the radio code and process to reset. if you still have the owners manual, many people write the code somewhere in it just in case.
