Block heater location on a 2014 Ford focus

we cant guess this. what is the question:
  1. its lost, cord end now ripped off?
  2. you want to add one. (ford sells it, buy it and and read box instructions;
  3. you bought a car, and was just wondering , not easy this is because there are so many heaters, why not ask a pro car tech to look for you? it can be freeze plug heaters, , mag heaters, in line water cooling heaters (my fav) and others.
ask any mech, to just look, why not?

How do you change the block heater in a 1999 Ford Taurus S.E. 3 litre 24valve duratec engine

Remove the inoperative heater and install the new one. You just have to gain access to the side of the engine block where the heater is located. Might have to remove something that is blocking access to the heater like the starter or something else.

Where is my Block heater located on the block

Block heaters dont come as standard equipment. But if you have one look along the sides of the block under/behind the exhaust manifolds. If you have one it will be installed in what are known as the freeze plug holes. If you dont have heaters and need one you can pick one up at most autoparts stores. they come with installation instructions

Need location for the engine block heater

Assuming you have the 7.3 liter the heater is located on the drivers side just in front of the oil filter with an orange wire connecting to it.However the plug for connecting to power is under the passenger side of front bumper or behind grill.

Block heater

Not all F150's came with them,, but typically on the straight sixes the plug into the block was on the passenger side of the engine.
But like i said,,not all F150's came with block heaters.
