SOURCE: Can't find radiator drain valve on 2003 Buick Rendezvous

You will have to jack the car up and get under it to get to the drain valve, it is located on the back side of the radiator tank, drivers side, if not there then opposite side..

SOURCE: 2000 Chevrolet Impala Radiator flush Where is

On the bottom of the radiator is a valve to drain the radiator. Now if your are trying to do a flush you will have to get a kit and put a flush T in one of your heater lines. Also there is a plug on the engine block just above the oil pan that will drain the water from the block.

Radiator drain plug how do i open it to drain the radiator

You don't. You never open the petcock on radiators with plastic tanks because the petcock always breaks. If it doesn't break, it'll leak when you close it. No pro ever uses the petcock. You loosen the lower radiator hose clamp and yank the lower radiator hose. You'll take a bath, but it'll all be drained in about 1.5 mins. Then reconnect. You'll actually drain far more coolant that way too.

collapsing bottom radiator hose indicates blocked radiator cores
would be time for a new radiator after you again flush out the cooling system completely
have the radiator shop fitting the new radiator do the flush as they know how to do it properly

2002 Impala: check coolant light comes on occasionally but doesn't over heat; assume it's dirty and I need to flush the radiator. Where is the drain/petcock? Do I use garden hose to rinse out?

THE CHECK COOLANT SENDER UNIT MAY BE IN THE OVERFLOW TANK (HEADER BOTTLE) CHECK THE LEVEL IN THAT
OR IF IT IS IN THE RADIATOR ITSELF THEY CAN GATHER A SLIME ON THEM FROM THE COOLANT ADDATIVES.
REMOVE IT AND CLEAN IT AND REFIT

Show a diagram on how to drain my 2000 chevy impala, I can't seem to locate how to drain the old water, and anti-freeze, so I can add new.

the easy easy solution for ya on this one is to look at the radiator....there is a black or white plastic petcock(drain plug) on the bottom of the radiator. normally it's on the right hand side of the radiator....drivers side of the car....simply turn it counterclockise to drain the cooling system...don't forget to flush the system and burp it to get all the air out of her when you are done...HOPE I HELPED!!

Drain coolant in 2003 Chevy Impala

hey, i just flushed out my coolant system a month ago. it is located (if you face the front of the car) on the bottom right. it will drain straight down to the ground and you have to unscrew it from the back of the radiator. it is covered by a pastic piece and sits right on the radiator frame. hope that helps some!!
