Question about 1991 Peugeot 405

Un identified light on the dashboard.

An indicator light has light up on the dashboard that looks like a radiator. I don't have the handbook to refer back too. I have refilled the radiator, and its been alright for a few days then the light has relight. The tank is still full, so I'm assuming that I don't have a leak.

Hi,
The light indicates loss of coolant. There is a leak somewhere in the system.

I would say it's a faulty sensor on the expansion bottle

I have a toyota cellica1995 auto coupe (import) no handbook. green Warning light on dash, Ect-S power, what does this mean. Have just changed the alternator any reference to this? cheers mark

Easy one. You pressed (or someone pressed) the ECT button located near the shifter, in the console, or on the shifter itself. It changed the shift pattern of the transmission to a higher shift point for more performance (but uses more gas). Look for the switch and with the engine running push it until the light goes off.

Dashboard lights not working and brake light also not working but all the other lights work

Check the fuse, the fuse must be in the main fuse box. The position and function of the fuses is normally marked on the inside of the fuse box cover and also in the owner's handbook. If you don't come right with these, work your way through the fuses looking for a blown one. To ease your search for the required, fuse it should be around 20 amps.

this symbol usually indicates that the radiator is low on coolant. on some cars a similar light means low washer fluid. so check both of them.

Brake light on dashboard and light on that looks like the radiator

The brake light is the brake light. It means you have a significant problem with the brake fluid pressure. Like a bad wheel cylinder or something. The radiator looking light is a low coolant sensor. Totally un-related to the brake light. You should find out where the coolant is leaking & repair.
