Question about 1999 Ford Expedition
The heat in the front of my expedition works ok but the rear just blows cold. It has rear controls but it dosent matter if it's turned to hot or not it blows cold and it's not the knob it is turning an not broken on the inside. So front heat works rear heat does not an if it's a blend door that's not working are there 2 heater cores or something cause it dosent makes sence that the front would work an not the back if there's a bad blend door thanks for any help
The blend door actuator is located in the left rear quater panel. It's right there when you remove the trim panel (left side rear) Below is a picture of it when panel is removed along with another picture of the air duct system. I also gave you a picture of the connector at the actuator. Make sure you are geting power and test opening and closing. Worst case you could make the blend door stay to where you are geting heat until you can repair the problem...
