I have the same problem. Interestingly enough on the passenger side works just fine. The parking light and high beam both work on the drivers side, but no low beam. I replaced the bulb. Still no luck. The dealer said my VIN wasn't one of the vehicles under recall. There seems to be no connection going to the low beam at all. Why?? What's going on?

If you just want to replace the bulb yourself, this is a good website.
If the website does't get your headlight fixed... You might have a blown fuse. It could be in the IPDM E/R location under the hood. This is next to the coolant bottle. Remove the coolant bottle with two screws and lift the cover to the IPDM E/R. Just set the coolant bottle aside for now. The low beam fuses are 49 and 50. They are 15A fuses. To be more precise, they are located on row 2, columns 2 and 3 (column 1 being closest to the fender of the car). Hope this helps.

There is a recall on the 2002 2003 altima head lights , they are of faulty design , go to dealership and check the recall , its free . if you choose to do them yourself , there is what looks like a paper clip lock ,from inside the engine compartment look where the connector is on the bulb , you push in on this clip looking device and move it sideways and it will release the tension on the bulb itself , it just pokes thru the hole in the headlight assembly , if you see any burnt area or crusty plastic , or if the light come back to life because you jiggled that clip , it is faulty and comes under the recall.

Low beam headlight doesn't work after replacing with 3 new ones. Any suggestions?

My 2003 Altima had a similar issue...Long story, short....I located a blown fuse (location 49 & 50) for the low beams in the IPDM E/R and replaced it. The headlight worked right away. My IPDM E/R was under the hood close to the front passenger side head light and coolant bottle.
