The lights tack and rpm do not light up and when door is open doom lights don't work
Check the fuses, more than likely it's a blown fuse. Look up your fuse block configuration in the owners manual.

I KNOW YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL SHORT.WAS AN ALARM INSTALLED OR ANY OTHER TYPE OF ACCESSORY? CHECK WITH DODGE TO FIND OUT ABOUT A RECALL.IF SOMETHING WAS INSTALLED, TAKE IT BACK THERE TO STRAIGHTEN IT OUT IF NOT HAVE A AUTO TECHNICIAN CHECK IT FOR YOU.

Sounds like the brake light switch has a problem. Located above brake pedal and activated with the brake pedal arm. Check for power going in and coming out when you apply the brake.

my 1998 cadillac deville information display cluster goes on and off for days at a time. most times I do not know how fast I am going or miles.

check the switch on the rear hatch sometimes they are in too far also if you hear a clunking noise from the door the switch might have come apart and need replacement.
