Does the 2006 Scion Xb need to have the timing chain replaced?

104,000 miles on my Scion Xb 2006. Does the timing chain ever need replacement?

for the most part you open the rear hatch and remove the panel and then you can see the small nuts or screws you need to remove to get it out try these websites www.autozone.com and www.alldatadiy.com if all fails stop by your local Scion dealership in the parts department and they will print you out a some pictures and diagrams wish you the best of luck Michigan.

I believe the image of the blet routing is located under the hood. If you pop the hood and look up it should be right there.

My 2006 xb wont fire we though it was timing chain but its not only 1 cylinder is getting compression


remove the raid cap and blow air into the cylinders and see where it leaks out

Your Scion XB does not have a timing belt. It uses a chain and no maintenance is required unless it becomes noisy.
