Question about 1998 GMC Sierra
Everything else works
Check for voltage at your brake switch. this switch is located at the top of your brake pedal. this is pretty easy to find. it will have 4 wires coming out of it on a gm vehicle. check for voltage. if there is no output, replace the switch. the brake wire is white at the switch. hook up your multimeter to the white wire. then depress the pedal. if you have 12 volts, the switch is good. if not, remove and replace the switch
