The thermostat is under the alternator. Remove Neg. battery cable, positive cable from alternator. Remove Alternator, drain radiat
if it can't help you i think you should buy a diagnostic tool and make a diagnostic by yourself or you can do it in a garage. there are a lot of good tools here: chinasinoy.com

check the brakelight switch on top of the brake pedal first and if that does not fix it then check out the fuse link and ground and here is a place for GM parts if needed Schram auto and truck parts 1-800-292-1032

Sounds like your water pump is going out or your thermostat is stuck. Check the thermostat first and make sure it is not frozen in the clsed position.

the best i can do for you is to tell you to purchase a haynes repair manual at a local auto parts store. about 17$. it'll give you exact instructions.

for parking brake and abs check for parking brake switch operation, for abs check with scan tool for any trouble code, for your cruise control unit check for any broken vacumm hoses on the engine, for the ac fan, check the fan motor, relay or fuse.
