When you replaced the heater core, did you disturb the vehicle's ECU? This is usually under the dash, close to the heater core on many Korean cars and Japanese cars such as yours. If you have disturbed the ECU, its wiring or managed to get coolant on it when changing the heater matrix, then that could be your issue.
If you got it wet, then take it out and dry it and it's connections thoroughly before reconnecting it. Hope this helps!

This may sound silly but place the actual key in the drivers door and cycle locked and unlock this should reset the security system.

Flush heater core on 2009 ford ranger

if your just doing the heater core you can clamp off the heater hoses to the core, disconnect them from the heater core and run water through it both ways. if its real bad connect spare hoses to the heater core spigots and pour CLR into the core until it is full(coming out other hose) block off hose so the core is filled and let sit. then flush out again until water runs clear. if this won`t clear it then it will have to be replaced.

How do you change 1992 chev lumina heater core

if the coolant level is at the proper level and the thermostat is good then before you pull the heater core out you can try disconnecting the heater hoses and drain or blow out as much coolant out of the heater core then connect separate hoses to the spigots and fill the heater core with CLR and let it sit for an hour before draining then flush out with water and repeat if necessary this sometimes works and you won`t have to remove the heater core.

Replaced heater core, car won't start need troubleshooting

If you changed your heater core, it has nothing to do with the car starting. Did you disconnect the battery when you did this? . The only other thing I can think of is a safety switch that won't allow the car to run if the water is low. This can happen if the system gets air locked. How did you fill the system back up? Did you hit any wires off while working on car? Did the car run fine before you changed the heater core? Let me know and we can go from there Cheers from NS Canada

1994 Caprice LS. Little to NO heat.

It will be the heater core. If you can smell it inside the car and it's steaming up the windows the core will need to be replaced. Remove the heater core housing and check to make sure its leaking from the core itself. You might get lucky and have a leak from the hoses running to core instead. Hope that helped.

Can i by pass the heater core

i`m guessing that you are talking about the heater core blew and you have coolant on the inside of your can bypass the heater core by disconnecting the hoses that connect to the heater core and connecting a hose connector between the two hoses and your done.however if you need heat you won`t have it until the heater core is replaced.
