Its the solenoid on the top of the starter motor. A common issue with many Toyota Camry models. Also try tapping it with a hammer. This seems to work with a number of these models when the solenoid and motor become stuck.

Find another relay with an identical part number(maybe the fuel pump relay)& swap it in place of the suspect EEC relay.See if the buzzing quits. If it does, the EEC relay is bad. There might be a ac WOT cutout relay or fan relay with an identical part number that you can use instead of the fuel pump relay. The fuel pump relay & EEC relay will both have to be in place in order for the engine to start.A relay should click when you turn the key on,but it shouldn't make a buzzing noise.BTW-the EEC relay is energized when you turn the key on and then it supplies ignition on power to the computer, injectors, solenoids and fuel pump relay. Therefore, if the EEC relay is defective, these components are Not going to work.If you don't hear the fuel pump prime when the key is first turned on,that's a sign the EEC relay is bad.One of the injector wires should have battery voltage, if the EEC relay is powering up.If your vehicle doesn't have a matching relay to the EEC relay(except for the fuel pump relay)just pull the FP relay out and slide it into place of the suspect EEC relay for testing purposes. If the buzzing noise stops, then replace the relay because there's no way to test if the car will start without having both relays in place.

How to install a starter button on a car

Today, most cars and trucks have a electrical circuit that sends a shot of current from the ignition switch to the srtarter solenoid when you trun the ignition key to a certain place.
What I think you are asking is how to add a push button for the starter. I have done about 4 of these back 50 years ago.
What is usually done is a wire is run from the positive (+) terminal of the battery to the back of the push button under or in the dashboard, and then another wire is run to the small screw/nut connector on the starter solenoid.
A sad note here: You may be making a whole lot of problems for yourself if your car has a computer, as you will be "confusing" all the electrical circuits with your addition.
A speed shop for race cars might also help you.
Be blessed.

My car keeps dying and won't restart until I charge the battery again. Then, when I drive during the day there are no problems. When I drive at night using the headlights it will die within a short period...

Travis,

Thsi way you will keep paying me $10 everytime your battery goes dead. Please have your car alternator checked and repaired as it is not charging the battery because of which the battery runs low and the cars stops. Gas cars need a battery to run on, unlike diesel ones that need battery only to start. They can also be push started if the battery is dead. petrol card cant run without the battery. So, the answer lies in driving to the electrician and getting the alternator repaired.

Sunroof will not work

Power is supplied to the Power windows and sunroof through the power window circuit breaker. That circuit breaker is supplied power through the RAP (retained accessory power) Relay, the RAP relay also supplies power to the radio. The RAP relay is also fuse protected by the RAP fuse in the under hood fuse block. The RAP relay is energized by the BCM body control module.

The RAP relay is responsible for the radio and windows working after the igntion is turned off.

The first place to check would be the RAP fuse in the under hood fuse block and then the RAP relay in the Body fuse block.

A list of the BODY relay block located on the left side of the dash to the right of the interior fuse block is below:

(1) Park Lamp Relay (2) Courtesy Lamp Relay (3) Retained Accessory Power (RAP) Relay (4) Power Seats Circuit Breaker (5) Power Windows Circuit Breaker (6) Inadvertent Power Relay (7) Door Lock Relay (8) Headlamp Ground Relay (9) Driver Door Unlock Relay (10) Door Unlock Relay(1) Park Lamp Relay

My 1999 dodge intrepid is stuck in low gear code p1768 is what i am looking for

Dodge: Relay always off (relays are stuck open) Dodge: Relay always off (relays are stuck open) Dodge: Relay always off (relays are stuck open) Dodge: Relay always off (relays are stuck open) Dodge: Relay always off (relays are stuck open) Dodge: Relay always off (relays are stuck open) Dodge: Relay always off (relays are stuck open) Dodge: Relay always off (relays are stuck open)
P1768 TCM (tranny control module) relay output always off
Okay what it means is that the PCM (engine computer) is not seeing the relay for the TCM
turn on. Can be as simple as a new relay, should be in the fuse panel next to the battery under the hood, switch if you can with another identical relay and see if it makes any difference, If it doesn't then you probaly have a broken wire somewhere in the harness between the PCM/fusebox area on the drivers side .

A/C Control Relay

There are several relays for the A/C system on these. Using the reverse of the lid of the fuse/relay plate box it will show you the positioning of the relays but not the description;

I've added in the description so hopefully will help you!

Relay 9 - Heater blower relay
Relay 10 - Heated rear window relay
Relay 13 - A/C condenser blower motor relay
Relay 14 - A/C compressor clutch relay
Relay 15 - A/C condenser blower motor relay

There is no relay itself for the A/C control, however there are a couple of fuses for this. If you need I can supply you with the fuse position and exact function within the AC system.

Out of curiousity whats the problem with your AC?

Hope this helps
