SOURCE: OIL PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE
If cleaning the engine does not work, replace the oil press. sending unit. These senders on Jeeps have had a history of problems where they will work one day and not the next day.

I just did a tune up on a 1995 SL2. The valve is on the fuel filter assembly. Facing the car, on the right side, the fuel filter is attached to the frame. Follow the line out of it, and there should be a cap. Unscrew the cap, and push the schrader valve in. Pressure released.

Look for a tire-valve-looking pressure test port located on the fuel rail located over the injectors. Pressing the inner pin releases the pressure along with fuel--catch it in a clean can. You can also remove the fuel pump fuse, then start the engine and run it until it stops.

The oil pressure relief valve should be on the oil pump.If your oil pressure is ok,have the wiring tested to theswitches or try another set of clocks

If the vehicle is equipped with a pressure relief valve, install an EFI/CFI fuel pressure gauge T80L9974B or equivalent and depressurize the fuel system. If the vehicle is not equipped with a pressure relief valve, the fuel filter connection should be covered with a shop rag or towel to prevent the fuel from spraying during the removal procedure. It is also possible to reduce the amount of pressure in the fuel system by locating the inertia switch (usually located in the luggage compartment) and disconnecting the electrical connection on the inertia switch. Next crank the engine for 15 seconds to reduce the system pressure
