Question about Cars & Trucks
Speedometer always showing 10mph faster then actual speed
Have you changed the wheels and tires on you vehicle to aftermarket ones? if so, the chrysler dealer can "relearn" the new tire size that is on you car, adjusting the speedometer accordingly

The speedo is electronic and has failed, you will need to have it repaired by an authorized GM repair shop that does GM electronics, this is not the dealer, they will send it out and charge 2X, send it out for repair yourself, bypass the dealer.

Have you called transmission place? Did they also install it? Ask them if they changed speedometer adapter, and mention the difference in speed.

SOURCE: I have a Chrysler Town
Chrysler products allow you to program the computor for the tire size on the vehicle. I have no idea how this could have been altered, but find someone with a scanner and have them give that a shot.
