I brought my 2006 H3 in to the dealer for the same thing. My blower stopped working all together but it started as an intermittent problem. He said he had to replaced a diode or resistor either behind the switch on the dash that controls the fan or on the fan motor itself. Have not had a problem since but that was only about 4 months ago.

Hummer 2006 rear heater not working

Is it not getting heat or is the fan not blowing? Either way you're going to have to dig down through all the limo bs to expose blower motor and heater box then it depends on what does not function. If fan then you will need to test for power at the fan connector. If no heat check control valve that lets hot water into the core. If power at fan but does not blow replace fan if no power, check resistor card for short. If no power there test switch.

Block heater for 2004 h2

Do you get heat? If not its the heater core. The core is blocked with caulk. You can either attempt to remove the blockage with a transfusion/ liquid transfer machine or replace the core.

Heater core repeatedly leaks, changed 3 time in past 3 months and still no solution

You should probably pressure test the cooling system and the radiator cap to make sure it's releasing properly at the correct pressure, and to identify where any leak may exist. I would suggest that you bypass the heater core for the test first, then test once it's repaired & reconnected.

I've heard of this before due to a leaking headgasket, or small crack in the head/block as well as a bad radiator cap that won't release at the correct PSI.

You may be able to braze (2) 1/2 in. copper 90 degree water fittings back to back to install as a jumper. Install jumper well ahead of bad hoses. I have never seen a stopped up heater core. Replace any suspect hoses and temp control valves.

1995 H1 Problem

hi raymond,

it could just be the overflow of the air conditioning. it could just be plain water which is the water condensate from the air conditioner.

look at the engine compartment firewall, find that hose and insert a long stick that can be inserted and you might un clogged the drain line.

if you are loosing coolant from the thing you are saying and you are definite that it is coolant water and not just plain water, then the heater core could have gone bad and leaking and you need to bring it down for repair or replacement.

have you been adding water to your radiator every time you use the car? if not, then im 90 percent it could just be a clogged air conditioning drain.

tnx 4 using fixya,
