Question about 1999 Acura CL
I have a 99 Acura CL, and the FOB died. I tried to unlock the driver door with the key to gain entry and the alarm starting going off. I have disconnected the battery to stop the noise, but when i reconnect the battery, the alarm keeps sounding.
Stick the key in the door (driver front) and hold to unlock

Insert key into drivers door (with battery connected and alarm sounding) and lock and unlock door again using the key. This will disarm alarm system.Don't let others answers fool ya.It's as simple as that...

This happens to me all the time when I lose my key fob and have to use my valet key. You just relock and unlock the door again and the alarm stops.
