SOURCE: replacement of heatercore

I believe you have to dissassemble the lower part of the hvac unit under the dash to gain access to the heater core, then disconnect the hoses at the firewall and remove the heater core.

Disconnected the heatercore to my 1990 cadillac deville, would I have any problems if i don't replace it. I have re-routed so it bypass the heatercore?

no problems, you are living the savage life of a jeep owner. those cores go out in about 6 months and everyone just sticks a short pipe in its place. get some insulated boots for winter, you will need one of those little hairdryers to plug in the lighter in socket order to defrost the windows

How expensive is the repair of a turn signal flasher unit in a 1994 Buick LeSabre? thank you!

The turn signal flasher unit is a simple plug in device. It should not be expensive at all. Most auto parts stores can sell you a replacement, and even show you how to find it and replace it yourself.

I,m trying to find where the vacuum line goes from the engine comparment to the heather on a 1997 buick regal ls my heater does not switch from heat to vent or defrost

It is a black stiff plastic line that usually runs alongside the passengerside of the engine compartment. It should enter through your firewall next to your heatercore ports. They can become brittle and break. When I replaced mine on my Grand Prix, I used a more flexible hose.

Hot water leaking under the drive's foot mat.what do we do? Also a lot of steam coming unto the front windshield/ screen from inside

The hot water is may be coolant and may be leaking from the heatercore and causing windows to fog, another thing to check is to make sure the heater box drain is clear and also the rear firewall drains, if you open the hood and look to the rear where the battery is thatarea fills with water due to plugged drains at the bottom, theres a drain on each side and one under the battery but the only way to get this water hot would be if the water would enter the heater box which i kinda doubt, this sounds more like coolant. i would have the hoses checked to make sure its not a hose going to heatercore and causing the leak inside, if it is the heatercore then this is an expensive job, i just noticed the year, a 1994, this may be a heatercore leaking. have the system leak tested and the leak location will be clear. hope this helps.

1994 buick park avenue, idling up and will not idle down

If it's not sticking throttle linkage, and i assume it isn't because you have an engine light on, it's probably a faulty idle control sensor. You can get one at any parts store, and they aren't hard to remove and replace. The parts guy can show you exactly where it is on his screen.
