You have to remove a freeze-plug from the block, and then replace that plug with the block-heater element. THIS IS NOT AN EASY JOB!

Drain plug location for transmission on 2008 hyundai accent

If this is an automatic, there is no drainplug. You have to drop the entire tranny pan, but if you\'re careful when taking the bolts loose; you can drain the pan pretty easy.

Where is the transmission pan on a 2001 accent

They do not have a regular trans. pan for sevice, but it has a drain plug underneath -- horizontally located facing the tire. It's pretty much in the centre of the transmission/axle.
Remove that to drain the fluid and it has a magnet in the drain plug -- clean that out before you put it back.

Accent engine heater?

Freeze plug heaters were designed for V8 domestic engines. It is possiable to install in your engine if you have the correct size plug to fit your car, but it will be a pain. I would return the plug and get the type that installs in the lower radiator hose. but if you insist on a freeze plug heater, they will be located on the back side of the engine block. Good Luck

the block heater goes in the firewall side of the engine. There is what is called a frost plug there (actually there is more then one) locate the one next to the ac compressor that is the plug u must remove to install the block heater ( the frost plug is the second one from the front of the engine)
