1987 chevy 6.2 liter surburban glow plug going in & out .sometimes it will allow me to start sometimes it wont.

Pick up a book called Haynes Diesel Engine Repair Manual, part no. 10330, at your auto parts store. It deals with all the early diesel engines includung the 6.2. It has a good diagnosis section and how to repair. It also has tricks to prevent some problems from recurring. Hope this helps.

Not able to reach the wires on my starter on 1996 gmc surburban

Look under the hood on the pass. side and down by the frame you will see the main power wire that runs from the batt. down to the starter. There is a wire clamp that has a 13mm bolt which secures the wire to the frame.Taking this off will allow more slack to pull the starter down further to access the wire.

PCM module, ECM module 1996 Chevy Suburban K model

Powertrain Control Module = under right side of dash, near blower motor.
Engine Control Module = same as above
Vehicle Control Module = same as above

All Suburban vehicles are equipped with only one of these choices. Good luck.
