I have a 2005 chevy impala with miles 147,000 and the check engine light came on

I would have the 2005 Chevy Impala's computer scanned for codes to see what is causing the check engine light to go on. It is not unusual for a 'miss' or an O2 sensor to go bad on such a high mileage vehicle.

Have it checked, though, in order to pinpoint the problem sooner.

Good luck on this repair.

P134, p0141, po300, po130 and po135. 2005 Sunfire.

Given that most of the trouble codes are for the O2 sensor, I think I would change it. The multiple misfires could be because of improper fuel/air mixture caused by a bad sensor. Disconnect the negative(-) battery terminal then change the sensor. Disconnecting the negative(-) should reset the computer and allow the fuel/air mixture to return to default allowing the engine to start.
P0130 - O2 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P0134 - O2 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P0135 - O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P0141 - O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
P0300 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected

Replacing the 1,1 oxygen sensor

P0134 means that no activitiy (function) is detected in the sensor. P0135 is an 02 sensor heater malfunction. Basically, it sounds as if your O2 sensor is dead and needs replacement. Being that you state it's the 1,1 sensor, you're talking about the primary, or pre-catalyst, oxygen sensor. This is the one closest to the engine, before the catalytic converter.
