Question about 1997 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
I have a 2002 Mercedes Benz C320 wagon. After filling the gas tank, I cannot get the gas cap back on. It appears that the gas cap locking mechanism itself is the problem. What can I do?
I'd try spraying lock de-icer from an auto parts store into the lock and twisting it back and forth.
If you don't have the key you can probably get one at an auto parts store. Call first to make sure they have one before you make the trip.
It won't hurt much to drive it without a gas cap....I've seen it done before!
