SOURCE: I have a 1998 Honda

Sounds like a fan failure. It's likely not wiring or the ECU. If the fan ever not blows air, unplug it, remove three screws and it falls on the passenger's floor. Hook it up to 12 v (polarity doesn't matter for a short test) and see if the motor is OK. It won't work on any A/C level. Does that still mean bad blower resistor.

There are several things that may cause your blower motor to stop working. The simplest cause would be a blown fuse. If you replace the fuse and it quickly blows again, then you probably have an electrical short. Disconnected wires on the exterior of the blower motor can also cause it stop working, and if your blower motor gets dirty, it can get clogged or muddy which keeps the fan blades from spinning.

As far as the noise and lack of air goes you will need to replace the blower motor and blower wheel also.

Keep us updated.

Heater in 1991 doesn't heat up only cold air comes out def or vents

If you had some heat before you changed the thermostat, you probably still have air trapped in your cooling system, specifically in the heater core. You state you have a 1991 vehicle, but no make or model. Google "bleeding cooling system 1991 (make) (model)" and you should get guidance on specifics for your vehicle.

not sure on your cherokee but often there is a valve in the heater hose line just as the water enter the heater core .. the valve is controled by the the selection of heat or cool .. those valves frequently clog up and need replaced ... you might also have an air lock in your heater core .. if air is trapped in there then it doesnt want to come out and it occupies a portion of the heating surface .. you can take the top heater hose loose with the engine running but not hot .. that will blead off any air in the core .. it will also show you if you have a clog .. you should have lot of water flow thru there with the engine running .. you may also have a bad thermostat .. if that the case then the engine wont get up to temperature preventing the heater from working properly ..

Heater doesnt work blows cold air, replaced thermostat and flushed heater hoses appears to have no flow through heater core, but lines arent plugged on a 1995 gmc sonoma. Why is the hot air not flowing...

This is what I did to solve the exact same problem.I got a pump that you can hook to a drill that has garden hose connections on it.I made 2 hoses to pump into my heater core and hook to the pump. I bought some radiator cleaner at Auto Zone and put it in a 5 gallon pail with about 2 gallons of hot water.I pumped the cleaner from the pail into the OUTLET side of the heater core.(By going in the outlet side you are back flushing the core.) I put an old cloth over the top of the bucket and let the outcoming cleaner run onto this cloth acting as a filter for the dirt coming out of the heater core and let the pump run about 10 minutes. Believe me,A LOT!!!!!!!!!!! of dirt, rust etc. came out of my heater core. The heat now works excellent! Good luck.

Our heater problem is that we get no or little heat

u should check the heater core for proper flow it may be clogged up which is an ongoing problem for all cars also the heater valve may be stuck closed not letting heated fluid into the heater core u can start by checking ur coolant to see if its a good bright color like green.
