no just lower the level or be quick about plugging in the new sensor, that is what I do, u may lose a cup of coolant but much less hassle than draining the radiator.

SOURCE: 09 Pontiac Torrent collant heater cord location

I believe it's a crankcase oil heater, and it is an option. If you ordered that option, it should be there under the hood. I'm not 100% sure, but if your vehicle does not have this option, you might be able to hasve one installed at the GM dealer

SOURCE: Trying to locate the front blower motor in a 1997 Trans Port?

It is behind the glove box. There are a few screws/retaining clips at the bottom of the glove box on the outside. You then open the glove box and remove a few more screws. Once the glove box is out, it will be obvious where the blower motor is. It's the only big round thing down there. lol If you are still unsure, turn it on and listen/feel for it.

I hope this helps.

How to add transmission fluid to 2006 Pontiac torrent

The transmission is sealed (no dipstick/fill tube). If fluid id needed you need to put the vehicle on a lift and access the fill plug from under the vehicle. The trans temperature must be monitored (by use of a special scanner) before filling or overfilling will damage the transmission resulting in early failure.

How do I check transmission fluid in my 2005 pontiac grand am

If you car's trans is the 4T45E trans then there will be no dipstick, there is a *fill plug* located on the converter housing. The *level* plug is at the back of the trans down near the end of the tailshaft next to the passenger side axleshaft. Pull out the level plug and look to see if there is any sign of fluid at the bottom of the port. If not, add fluid thru the port on the top of the converter housing until fluid begins to seep out the level plug port.

Trying to find were to check and see if i need more transmissin fluid in my 2002 pontiac grandamGT

To check the transmission fluid level in your car you have to raise the vehicle up and take out the transmission fluid check plug in the transmission. It is locate just below and forward (Towards the front of the car) of where the right axle goes into the transmission housing. To fill it take the plug out then remove the red cap located on the upper side of the transmission housing. You will need a long funnel to add the fluid. Add fluid until it can be seen dripping out of the check plug under the car. Then replace the cap and reinstall the plug. (There is no dipstick on your car)

There is a fill plug on the right side of the unit. Fills like a diff or stick trans...just add till it begins to spill out, then replace plug. You shouldn't need to fill unless it's leaking.
