I would check all of the vacuum lines to check for any damaged or cracked ones. If none, when was the last time you did a full tune up on this car? Plugs, wires, air filter(s), oil change, radiator flush, transmission fluid flush! Without first knowing how many miles are on this car, and the last time any of this was changed, it would be a hard diagnosis.
