That sensor is located on the Passenger side, back area connected to the engine, underneath the intake manifold. You may have to disconnect a few things to get to it

Where do I locate my crank shaft sensor

The Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor on a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier equipped with a 2.2L 4-cylinder engine is located on the front of the engine just above the starter near the oil pressure sending unit.

I also have a 2003 2.2L ecotec manual transmission.I have changed plugs, coil, map sincer, still have a misfire problem,i think somthing is wet inside but what that might be i don't know.Any suggestions

I worked on another fuel injected vehicle and found that it had an injector problem which had caused the check engine light to com on telling me that I had a random misfire.I did the same as you did and changed the knock sensor ,the crank position sensor and the cam position sensor only to find out that is was a distributor and injector problem.I would recommend that you test your cam and crank sensor and make sure that they are working properly And if the sensors are good then I would check my fuel system including the injectors to make sure there are no bad ones.

What do codes p0335 and p0341 mean on 1996 Cavalier?

when your engine went into that 5 second sputter,
your computer or "PCM" did not get a constant signal from the crank or cam sensors that the engine was running.
These two sensors tell the computer what RPM the engine is turning so it can adjust fuel and spark.

My 1997 chevy cavalier wont start.its getting spark and fuel.but wont fire it has a 2.2 ecotec.

Sounds like cam belt has snapped. If it broke while starting, could be cheap fix...new belt. Worst case: cylinder head off for overhaul...bent valves / pistons replaced.

Bad crank sensor

The Crank sensor on a Cavalier 05 is located,
Left rear of the engine, the seem side of the oil filter.
Just upper of the starter motor.
I hop this work for your question.
