Changed battery terminals and now dinging wont stop unless warning light fuse removed

It sounds like it thinks the key is still in it all the time. Try turning the key forward to the on position, but not running, so the dinging stops. disconnect the battery. Remove the key completely and reconnect the battery.

Why did our ABS light come on and the engine shut down??? We took it to a service center and they did a computer scan but could not find the reason for the problem. In 2003 I had a similiar situation in...

Check on possible recalls such as this one listed on Repair Pal found on Google: I believe you may have a defective computer module that is going to be hard to find as it breaks down when it feels like not when you are expecting it to do so. This is the recall example I found and listed below, even though it states 2005/06 I still would be concerned...the systems have hardly made any changes since then. Brakes: SERVICE BRAKES, AIR:ANTILOCK:ABS WARNING LIGHT Service Bulletin Number: 40525002 NHTSA Number: 10022470 Model Years Affected: 2005, 2006 Date of Bulletin: 08/2007 Bulletin Summary: ABS LIGHT ON, DTC'S C0265, C0201, U1041 SET AND/OR LOSS OF COMMUNICATION WITH BRAKE MODULE. (REGROUND EBCM GROUND).

What does this mean on my 2005 dodge magnum warning light "esp bass" and check engine light

the esp stands for electronic stability program, you will need to have the computer scanned for codes, these codes will help in the repair, you may have a bad speed sensor or the check engine light may have shut down the esp, when the engine detects a problem it shuts down the esp because it feels that the esp cant operate correctly when the engine is not running correctly,so the first thing is to scan for the codes, hope this helps, good luck,

Mazda Tribute 2002 engine cuts out randomly

I had a Mazda 626 with a similar problem, the car seemed to 'shut down' with no warning, even at highway speeds, as if I just turned the ignition key to 'Off'; After trying to fix it unsuccessfully by replacing several electrical parts, the problem was found to be a defective ignition switch, it was replaced and the problem went away.
