do not change the batery. If the car still runs fine the problem is a blown fuse. Find the fuse panel, On the back side of the fuse panel cover is the fuse location chart. Look for the cig lighter fuse it is probably 20 amp

The cruise control arm was knocked off and now my cruise control won't work

This sounds like one or more wires were broken or pulled out of the switch in that arm. A shop manual with the continuity test procedure is required.

Parking Brake Light won't turn off, Cruise Control won't engage

Get down and look at parking brake assembly, If you see an electrical connector, unplug it, see if that helps? If it doesn't help or causes other issues just plug it back in.
Of course that isn't the proper fix. If something wrong with parking brake assembly, get it checked out.

The end popped out of the cruise control switch in my 2004 Corolla, now I can't turn on cruise control.

The same thing happened on my 2010 Corolla. I got in one morning and it was just popped out. I guess I must have knocked it by accident.

I called the service dept. since the car is only 6 months old and he said he never heard of it. I checked Totoyta forums and there was no mention of it. I look at my service manual to check which fuses may have been affected, etc. Then:

The fix!
I noticed there was a small Phillips head screw on the back of the cruise control stem on my steering wheel so I unscrewed it and looked at the button up close. I saw that it had 3 copper metal prongs and that one of them was bent backwards almost in half. After I bent it back the way it should go and screwed the back panel back on, it worked just fine.

I guess I must have just hit the stupid thing with my leg and knocked out the button. Then, after pushing the button back in, it must have just bent one of the 3 metal prongs so that it would no longer make an electric circuit.

Anyway, glad I could fix it on my own but it did kinda upset me that Toyota was not going to provide me with a free rental until they figured out what was wrong. Guess I was hoping for too much?

Hi my cruise main green light will not turn off and i didn't turn it on... i pressed delete and this did not work

I had the same happen on my Accord. Turning the car off and on didn't fix, either did pressing the brake nor pressing the cancel button for cruise control. But I pressed the cruise button, that turns on cruise control, and the light went out. I'm now wondering whether I need to take the car in for service, since I don't know what caused this to come on and to not go off with brakes or cancel button.
