This is most likely an ignition assembly issue or relay fault. I'd check the ignition lock mechanism first as this sounds to be faulty.

How do you know its the fuel relay? My 94 roadmaster starts good when first crank but when cut off and then i try to cut it on again it'll start but then cut off. Changed starter and has gas but it wont...

this is indicative of a faulty ignition switch or ignition circuit.
When you have it in the start position the power is divided between the coil and the starter motor. hence it starts
when you let the key go to the run position the power is stopped to the starter but a new circuit is opened to the coil hence providing power to the coil for the engine to keep running. There is a resistance wire to the coil that lowers the voltage for running. Your problem will be in that run circuit if not in the ignition switch

What are the ignition switch connections on a bobcat 720? The manual gives me the wire colors, but the connections are too blurry to accurately tell what wire goes to which terminal. It is a 4 termina

it requires 3 wires to start 2 to feed power to ignition and 1 to acativate starter , signal wire ,if you use a test light and find power and make up 2 sets of jumper wires once you touch the red wire to any 1 wire you should hear starter ingauge but it wont stay running till you connect yellow and black wire , once you know what wires do what its easy. that's the way I remember it im sorry if this is confusing if I was there it would take 5 min.

Starting problem

sounds as if your solenoid is sticking. your starter has a "hot" wire going to it and a ground usually attached to the frame of the vehicle. try by passing the solenoid by contacting the hot and ground on the solenoid posts.

Car starts itself

someone broke the key cylinder or its just worn out. need to replace cylinder. I would just put a hidden switch that cuts off power to starter or fuel p[ump so if someone trys to steel they don't know where switch is and it wont start

Your ignition switch is probably defective and will have to be replaced-the starter solenoid was attached to the starter you installed, correct? If so, it has to be the switch...

Either the start relay is stuck, the ignition switch is defective or someone messed up the wiring. I'd start by checking out the relay then check the ignition by checking for battery voltage when the ignition is turned to start (at the relay)

I HAD A TRUCK THAT DID THE SAME THINK AND MY HOT CABLE THAT GOES FROM THE BATTERY TO THE STARTER WAS BAD.
IT ALSO COULD BE THE STARTER ITSELF

Starts but quits as soon as key returns to run position.

My bet is that you have an open the fuel pump run circuit or the vacuum switch. Most GMs have a vacuum switch to 'see' the engine running and reduce pressure by cutting voltage. However, if your car has a turbo or supercharger, they use a relay that 'flips' to a resistive line which then cuts the power level to the pump. Get a good model-specific diagram and check it out.
