Using the fader and balance controls on the stereo to allow only one speaker output, touch that speaker's output wires to your vehicle's speaker wires until you figure out which pair of wires powers the speaker you need to hook up to. Repeat by changing fader and balance controls for each output you need to identify.
Remember to mark your wires for later reference. You can use masking tape and a pen to do this.

I want to no the speaker color diagram in a 2000 gmc yukon slt

Those color guides I have included should give you a good reference for what the speaker wire colors are in your Yukon. GM like Ford are very regimental about their color schemes and have followed them for years.
Only in some strange hybrid vehicles have they deviated such as special imports or collaborations with foreign manufactures... Example Geo Prism/Chevy Nova in the 80's/90's and Mercury Villager. There are many more but you get the idea.
The home grown domestic stuff is very much by the book for GM and Ford.
These color lists should be 90+ % accurate and answer most questions. The one even translates the GM colors into standard aftermarket stereo colors for easy hookup.
Note of Advice... BUY THE ADAPTER CONNECTORS. THEY ARE WORTH IT BECAUSE SOME COLORS ARE USED TWICE ON DIFFERENT CONNECTORS AND CUT OFF, CANNOT BE IDENTIFIED FROM POWER TO SPEAKERS. YOU WILL GET CONFUSED AND ***** SOMETHING UP.

Can you put a newer radio in a 2001 yukon

Hi, my research indicates you can install a single din aftermarket head unit in the 2001 Yukon.
A couple of good websites to use are crutchfield and modifiedlife.
Crutchfields will identify exactly what adapters are needed, and modified life has the factory wire colors.
You will need an adapter to fill the space between the aftermarket stereo and the hole left by removing the factory head unit.
You will also need an antenna plug adapter.
I recommend you buy the wire harness pigtail to simplify the installation--this may or may not include the antenna plug adapter.
If you have onstar, you will need an additional adapter.
If you have steering wheel controls, you will need another adapter to keep those.
Keep the above things in mind when selecting a new aftermarket stereo, as you will need one that is compatible with steering wheel controls and onstar, if you have either of those and want them to continue to work with the new stereo.
Crutchfield has an link called "outfit my car" that takes you through a "Turbo tax" style questionaire and tells you what will work and what you will need. here is the link: http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Car/outfitmycar/MyCar.aspx

Assuming you have a base Yukon, here are your factory wire colors from modifiedlife.com:
2001 GMC Yukon Car Radio Wiring Schematic
Car Radio Battery Constant 12v+ Wire: Orange
Car Radio Accessory Switched 12v+ Wire: Yellow
Car Radio Ground Wire: Black
Car Radio Illumination Wire: Brown

Left Front Speaker Negative Wire (-): Gray
Right Front Speaker Positive Wire (+): Light Green
Right Front Speaker Negative Wire (-): Dark Green
Car Audio Rear Speakers Size: N/A
Car Audio Rear Speakers Location: N/A
Left Rear Speaker Positive Wire (+): Brown
Left Rear Speaker Negative Wire (-): Yellow
Right Rear Speaker Positive Wire (+): Dark Blue
Right Rear Speaker Negative Wire (-): Light Blue

2002 Yukon XL with Delco Stereo only has front passenger speaker working and the sub. High end sound coming out of driver front speaker, nothing from 2nd row speakers. Is this wiring issues or problems...

sound like the head unit's out put mosfet is going bad, but i have also ran in to this problem when it was a speaker wires shorting out. so first check the connection on your rear speakers.

No sound coming from door speakers

In the yukon it has preamplify,if you disconnect stock stereo the amp is not workind unless you know how to find it. You gotta let the car-toy hook it up for you.
