Make sure that the heat from the engine is getting to the heater core...possibilty of being clogged...easy way is to have engine at operating temp open hood look for two small hoses going into firewall(heater hoses) place your hand on them should be same temp if the are then possible issue with heater control head or box.

There is a tiny little peanut shaped light bulb inside the radio that provides the light for the dial, it is replaceable, you will need to remove the radio, then pull the top cover off the radio chassis, the bulb is under the cover.

this is a fuse I honestly believe check them with ohm meter. Lots of cars if you have a tail light out the dash light will not function also. I hope this helps

unfortinately the fuse box is under the hood and there is no panel inside the 2000 cherokee or diagram, i had to buy an online manual to find out what fuse went where for my jeep but its not with me. You can just pull the fuses out one at a time and look at them - I know its a pain. It might be your window controll switch - mine is bad as well. It is a common problem for these cherokees especially over 100k, they wear out - I initally thought it was my fuse as well because the lights in the window switch didn't light up anymore - but it is my switch.

153624 On cap #1 is two towers clockwise from right side hold-down screw, #1 is front cyl on engine. Firing order is clockwise.
