SOURCE: location of 2004dodge caravan cooling fan relay show photo

Remove the front number. Ou will see it riveted to the bumper frame of the drivers side. If you remove the screws that holt the top of the bumper to the upper radiator cover and gently pull back on the grill part of the bumper you will see it.

How can i test to see if my fan on my 99 intrepid works. It over heats.

Had an issue on my 98 Voyager with the cooling fan not working, noticed this on the test drive after changing the crankshaft and bearings(probably already broken). There was a relay for the cooling fan on the radiator support (not in the relay center). You might have a similar setup, but regardless, the fan IS on a relay somewhere. The relay socket will have all the test points necessary to diagnose the fan.The 2 largest conductors will be 12v in and the 12v feed to the fan.Jumper these 2 large conductors and the fan should run.If it does, then look for a ground to the relay, and also verify a few volts or switched ground from the PCM when the A/Cis on.

Where would i find the cooling fan switch on a 1993 oldmobile 98 regency?

The cooling Fan Pressure Switch is located on the side of the Radiator, usually below the upper hose. It is available at AutoZone or similar auto parts store for about $20. Here is a pic. of the Switch to help you identify it.
Good Luck!! A 4 THUMBS UP rating would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you for using FixYa.

98 Celica overheating problem

c7d7b55.jpg Cooling Thermostat.
Look along the radiator hose where it enters the engine. This controls the water temperature.

toyotacelicathermalfanswitch.jpgToyota Celica Thermal Fan Switch The Toyota Celica thermal radiator fan switch is usually located in the radiator or the engine block and has 2 or 3 wires coming from the unit. The 3 wire switch has a dual sensor for dual speed radiator fans. The Toyota Celica thermo fan switches come in the factory temperature settings and also come in cooler thermostatic settings so the fan will come on at a lower coolant temp.

The Toyota Celica cooling system is made of aluminum components and requires a Phosphate free coolant. DO NOT PUT an over the counter antifreeze in your Toyota Celica, as it will ruin the radiator and water pump.

Where is the fan relay switch and the fan cooling sencor on a 98 grand am

Fan usually comes on within 200 degrees. Could be less. Usually the relay switch is under the engine from the front. get under the car and look for a silver switch right by where the electrical wires hook up with the fan.

2000 Dodge Caravan air conditioner problems

heating and cooling fans are generally one and the same. changing freon doesn't always fix the problem... did you have the system pressure checked for leaks first.

Second determine if the vents are opening properly (switching from heat to cooling) basically when you change to cool it closes air access to the heater core.
