Did it start Before you got the new key? Take it back to where you got it from.

2000 toyota solaro, bad vibrating when sitting idle. Motor mounts have been replaced, that's when the vibrating started. What's wrong????

If you took it to a shop, take it back and complain. It was misdiagnosed. It is easy to find a bad mount. Paid money to replace good parts. If you had a friend do it, then the first ting I would look at is the timing belt. Make sure it is good and dead on the marks for timing. If it is, then do a tune up.

Hi, have a toyota avalon, tried starting the car , it won't start, but then the starter engaged and won't turn off evenwithout the key, disconnected the battery and it stopped , when the batte

It sounds like you have a bad actuator. This is attached to the starter and has a solonoid that pushes the starter motor gears into the engine gear. If the solonoid is faulty this may happen. Also check alignment of the same.

Dads 93 camry doesnt start. checked all fuses in dash and engine compartment and nothing. attempted to jump start it, and nothing. before he goes waste 200 dollars on a new starter, is there anything else...

Does the car make any noises when you try and start it..?
Try tapping the starter at the same time that someone is turning the key into the start position.
If this causes the car to crank or start, replace the starter motor.

If not, check for power at the small wire on the starter when the key is being turned.
If power is present, replace the starter.
If not, you have another issue, take the vehicle to a qualified person.

1993 toyota camry ignition wont turn

the steering wheel SHOULD be locked if the key is not in the ignition and turned to the 1st position.  If you can turn the steering wheel more than an inch or so without the key n the first position,  the ignition switch (read: thingy you put the key in) is bad.
Sometimes you may have to move the steering wheel slightly to one side or the other to get the key to turn,  this in itself is not a cause for alarm. Try it and let us know.  If this doesn't work, you are probably looking at a couple hundred dollars parts and labor to get the switch/steering wheel lock mechanism fixed.
Please rate all solutions.
