SOURCE: How do you change a fuel pump on a 2001 Chevy

Disconnect battery, remove lower rear seat (you will see a metal plate bolted down with a wire harness), Unplug fuel pump wire harness, remove fuel pump retaining bolts, install new one. Make sure you are in a well ventilated area as this involves a flammable liquid. Make sure all windows and or doors in the vehicle is opened.

Replace rods in 2001 prism

Not good omen. Likely a bearing seized or broke on your crank shaft. knocking is usually an indication of crank shaft problems - it is possible that you have top end damage as well. Prognosis is poor - rebuild / replacement is likely required. Don't plan any long trips - if you drain the oil you may find metal shavings etc... Depending on how bad the damage is you may be able to keep driving it but it does sound bad if you find it hard to keep running - if you do want to limp around for a bit drain the oil and change the filter and keep the oil up to it.

I have 2001 Chevy prism that was driven very low oil. Filled with oil but engine knocks and runs rough can I replace rods or new engine

I suspect that a replacement engine would be the cheapest way to go as to rebuild an engine is costly

2001 Chevy Blazer. Service engine soon light on. Check comp and replaced Temp. sender. Light came back on and it says it's the thermostat temp. sensor. Any idea where this is located?

The temperature sensor is located on the intake manifold by the thermostat housing. Check the wire leads first and if that's good, replace the sensor and thermostat. The 4.3 was programed by the factory to run it's best at 190'", if it runs too cold. The mil light comes on indicating a temperature sensor failure.
